  • Take notes – relating to feedback
  • Make corrections

Submit Final Work

  • All final edits accepted until Friday 12/23 at 12PM
  • Save final work as an Illustrator file with your name, into dropbox folder: Week15-FinalWork

My sincere apologies. I have a caught a stomach flu and aside from feeling terrible, it’s probably better not to risk spreading germs.

Please help to share the news if you are in contact with others from class so as to avoid any unnecessary trips to campus. If you do find yourself on campus please use the time to complete the final project.

Our final meeting will be next Tuesday 12/20 at the usual time 2:30 – 5:50PM in N1104.

If you have already made alternative plans, and are not able to attend please email me.

  • Discuss and generate content (each of you must design one page of the educational booklet.)

  • In-class Critique: we will take a look at all the final posters. You must make any FINAL edits and submit.

    You can use it as a final checklist – it includes all the elements I will use to grade your poster:
  • Also attached is peer-evaluation worksheet: comd1162_peerassessment. Each of you will be asked to peer-evaluate a classmate’s poster when we return from Spring break. I will be collecting these worksheets at the end of class. Your final grade will relate both to how you respond to your classmate’s feedback and also how thoroughly you provide valuable feedback in your peer-evaluation

  • Research: Sketch out 4 possible visual solutions to the two assignments related to the book design. You will be asked to present to the class next week.

Please note the following:
1.  If your poster is far enough along I recommend bringing a color 11×17″ print of it with you to class. It is very important to test print your work – often there are a number of unhappy surprises the first time you print (especially with the color and type size and readability).
