Great work on the logo designs for YANA. The level of work in this class is truly impressive and inspiring. YANA was thrilled with what they saw.

Please join the class on openlabs – you can view all the logos that were presented to YANA.

DUE – end of class today: Style-guide
(See example from previous week)

  • Finalized logo – presented in black and white and color
  • Style Guide: typography usage and color scheme
  • Application: Stationery design (letterhead, envelope and business cards) – should follow style guide specifications
  • Process (logo sketches – thumbnails)

  • Artboards – stationery design
  • Symbols and the scatter brush
  • Setting up poster
  • Review gradient mesh

In-class

Review logo’s and discuss client feedback
Revisions
YANA Poster design – sketches – must convey three core values:

  • Sustainable careers
  • Sustainable housing
  • Sustainable healthcare

Lab-time to work on whatever you need to.

Homework

  • Outline structure of poster (content)
  • Design three icons to represent each core value.
  • Revise poster sketches
  • Join the class discussion on openlab –  this will make presenting work to the class much more efficient
