Hello –

DUE:  digital version of your final file (you DO NOT need to print for this week).
If I did not see a print of your final draft last week – then please bring one with you next week: cheep paper is fine, printed in color OR in black and white 11×17″

In-Class
In-class Critique: we will take a look at all the final posters. You will make any necessary FINAL edits in class. Once approved go to print -> DUE next week.
-> Title: Vote 2012 (your can tweak this to your poster needs)
-> Tagline: Should relate to your concept and be integrated into the poster design
-> Registration deadline: Voting registration deadline for New York State must be postmarked 25 days before the election (this can appear as fine print [10/11 point font] – at the bottom of your poster.

Lesson
-> Review week 7 lesson
-> Smart Objects – Illustrator into Photoshop (Photoshop)
-> Working with scanned sketch work in Photoshop -> painting.

Labtime
Time to work on poster – final draft due next week – printed in color.

Project 2: Book Cover Design
Please review the following list of books. I would like you to select a source book for which you will develop a cover design. All selected books are public domain titles and have text readily available on-line through multiple sources. I recommend checking Project Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org) for full-text downloads on these titles.
